Having Pets when Dogs and Cats are not an option
Hey Man, How’s it going? It’s been great here in Santa Monica. I was hanging out with my buddies out here at the Third St. Promenade. We’re at one of the pubs drinking beer. One of my best friends from way, way back in elementary school tells me she is moving. Basically man, she moving from a house to a small apartment. She’s got a dog that she can’t keep. Before in the house she was living in, pets were permitted but not in the apartment she going to move into.
She beg me to keep her dog for her. Since, I am laid back nice guy, I said sure. But, I said she is still not off the hook on pets. Pets are good friends and companions to have. I told her she needs to get a parakeet, since no large pets were allowed. We went to the pet store, after having beers, and picked out a colorful parakeet. We bought a cage, and supplies for the bird.
There are many times when keeping a dog or cat is not an option. The reasons can be allergies, confined space, or apartment rules. It’s during these times you consider mini pets such as birds, gold fishes, reptiles, and hamsters etc.
I was glad to help my friend out. I get to keep the dog, and she gets a new pet. A win, win situation man. Peace Out!!!
