Midori is a Breath of Fresh Air

Hey man,

Midori is one of the software companies that don’t quite follow the herd. What I mean is they are not just another software gaming company. Unlike the big boys such as EA, or Blizzard, they cater to games for kids, and is concerned about global warming. In addition, they consider the less prevalent operating system, which is the MacIntosh. Most popular games are only supported on the PC platform; it’s refreshing to see support for Mac Games.

In addition, it’s great to see Mac support for games such as mahjong, and solitaire. It’s also rare see an emphasis on kid’s games such as “Mister Monster”, and “YooGlow”.

Midori is catering a section of the gaming market I believe has been under served. There aren’t many gaming companies that subscribe to independent thinking. Most of the gaming companies are very corporate, and is interested in serving the section of the market that makes the most money. These big gaming companies don’t have a conscious, and Midori does.
