It’s still the wild wild west on the World Wide Web. What does this mean? The Internet is expanding and growing like crazy. This reminds me of the gold rush in the 1840’s in San Francisco, CA. The analogy is, the next gold rush is still on the World Wide Web. Guess who made the most money from that gold rush in San Francisco? It wasn’t the gold miners, but the people that provided the tools for the miners. The same can be said, that if you build a great, I mean great server farm, you can be extremely rich. But that’s either here nor there. I’ve gotten a bit of topic. Sorry about that.

There is a great demand for a dedicated server. Where are the greatest deals? What are the most affordable dedicated servers?

Server Beach - cheap dedicated server, although you have to manage it.

Rackspace - managed dedicated server, a bit more expensive, but you don’t have the headaches of system administration. They also offer dedicated email server solutions as well.

ServerPronto - cheapest of dedicated servers. You start at $29.95 a month.

Fast Servers - They offer Linux as well has Windows. They do however offer some support, but is still not a fully managed server. The service is between a fully managed server and unmanaged server.

Of course with any of these dedicated servers you can do a variety of things including running a counter strike dedicated server, or more generally a dedicated game server. You can also provided virtual web hosting to your customers via a reseller program. Or if you are extremely generous provided free dedicated servers to your favorite cause.

Anyway there is so much to do and not enough resources to do them. So you prioritize.
